A Mentor helps individuals with day to day activities. As a Mentor you could be doing anything from helping cook meals, working in the resale shop, or taking individuals on outings. You don't have to be a licensed Mentor. We'll train you! The only thing we require is a great heart for loving our people and a high school diploma or GED.

CILA Mentors work with individuals in their homes. Residents of the Carterville and Marion CILAs enjoy a variety of activities. They like going to the park, seeing movies, visiting the local senior centers, going to fish fries, anything that gets them out into the community.

Community Day Services Mentors work with the individuals while they're at the workshop. Clients at day training enjoy learning new job skills and they LOVE going on outings. They enjoy outings like going to McDonald's or attending a St. Louis Cardinal's baseball game and everything in between. They LOVE to be on the go.
